ARTS CARE
WAS BIRTHED WITH A VISION FOR
HEALTHY AND FLOURISHING PEOPLE IN ARTS AND ENTERTAINMENT
Arts Care is a Not-for Profit organisation.
Arts Care (formally Arts Chaplaincy) was founded in 2010 by Sharna Lovell, after she was asked to support a company of Opera Singers who were grieving the suicide of their colleague.
Sharna saw the need in the industry to provide a greater level of support and care. She set about doing it by pioneering the concepts of onsite "help at hand" by “Trusted People” when needed in the arts and entertainment industry.
As Chaplaincy in the industry grew so did her vision. Sharna set out to empower others by giving them the tools to live successful & meaningful lives.
Sharna has worked in the community welfare industry for over 10 years, is a former chaplain to professional sports clubs in Australia, and has worked with governments both locally and internationally.
She is also often asked to speak at events on topics such as personal wellbeing and positive values.
Some of the areas Arts Care has supported:
Supanova (Australian pop culture festival) , fashion events, TV stations, film sets, art shows, dance and many more.
Today, Arts Care is run by a talented and dedicated team of staff, volunteers and board of directors.

WHAT WE VALUE
The "whole self" (body, soul and spirit), respect, confidentiality and a non-judgemental approach when coming alongside individuals to support their wellbeing, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, religion/non-religion or background.
