Caring for People in Arts & Entertainment

The Arts and Entertainment industry is a vibrant hub of creativity and diversity.

However, people in this industry are often overwhelmed due to uncertainty of work, varying wages and unique stressors in their day-to-day jobs. This can take a toll on their emotional, mental and general well-being.

Producers, talent managers and employers often want to help but many don't have the time or don't know how.

That's where Arts Care delivers.

Working in the Entertainment Industry: Final Report

We place trained “Trusted People” or Chaplains in the industry. They are a familiar face or point of contact to care for and check in on people who work behind the scenes or in front of the scenes.

They can be a part of the team as much or as little as you want. They maintain strict confidentiality and are free-of-charge.

Most companies have Work Health & Safety obligations under their respective jurisdictions, to provide a safe working environment for their staff members. This includes reducing and eliminating work-related stress, violence, abuse or assault. It is important to manage hazards that could result in psychological harm and proactively provide resources to support their artists, talent and team members in mental health management.

A Chaplain is a trained and recognisable 'Trusted Person' you can locate onsite to provide confidential support and pastoral care for a person's holistic wellbeing.
